From now through the end of August, we're collecintg items or boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  Bring your packed shoe boxes or items to fill a box to the church by August 30.  There is a collection box near the office.

• If you prefer, a member of the Missions and Outreach Team can shop and pack your box for you.  Simply make a donation, and we'll take care of it for you.  (The average cost of a shoe box is around $20 or $25.)

• If you'd like to help in another way, consider donating to help cover the cost of postage for boxes.  Samaritan's Purse asks for $9 per box for postage/shipping expenses.

Acceptable items for shoe boxes include toys, clothes, shoes, school supplies, personal hygiene tools, and more.  OCC asks that you not include any liquids, toothpaste, candy, or war-related toys in your box.
