connect & serve during covid-19

Being stuck at home can be challenging, but it doesn't mean we can't still minister to each other,
and to those outside our church family.  Below are just a few ideas for continuing to serve during this time.

What ideas have you had or implemented during your stay-at-home?  Let us know and we'll add them to the list.  Got a project you'd like help with?  Tell us and we'll put out a call for volunteers.

Let's encourage each other and our community, and continue to show that the church is not a building,
but the hands and feet of Christ!

  • Call your fellow Sunday School or small group partners; schedule a conference call or on-line prayer time, or use an old-fashioned telephone "calling tree" to stay in touch.
  • Think of ways you can use your at-home time to serve others in the community...like having the kids write encouraging cards to people, or offering to go grocery shopping for someone in the high-risk population. Use a crafting skill to help someone, such as sewing masks for medical professionals (ONE OF OUR MEMBERS IS DOING THIS NOW. CLICK  HERE TO SEE EXAMPLES, AND CALL THE OFFICE FOR HER CONTACT INFORMATION IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP.)
  • Pray. There is no more powerful tool in a Christian's toolbox than prayer, and no stay at home order or social distancing can interrupt your connection to God through prayer.
